The Mas des Alexandrins is just outside Uzès, near the Haribo factory, and it’s very quiet. Still, shops are within easy reach: pharmacy, bakery, or supermarket. Parking is secure on the premises. Each room has a separate entrance. Our luxury double room with balcony was spacious, had a kitchen, a washing machine (iron and ironing board provided), and a bathroom with a toilet. The large bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of power outlets behind the bedside tables or inside the room. Comfortable lounge chairs and stools were on the balcony. The excellent breakfast was delivered by Gilles each morning, featuring great fruit juices, fresh croissants, and homemade treats from his wife Brigitte, like cakes or yogurt. The owners are charming, hospitable, and very helpful. The garden is beautiful and well‑maintained. Since we were the only guests in early October, we enjoyed a week of peace and quiet, and we didn’t use the pool, which was already in winter break. Nearby excursions such as le Pont du Gard or the lovely market in Saint‑Quentin‑La‑Poterie (products better and cheaper than Uzès) and the local restaurant “La Cuisine du Boucher” are highly recommended. We found the value for money excellent and can highly recommend the Mas des Alexandrins. Nothing to complain about; everything was good.
