We fell in love with this gorgeous B & B in Middleton‑in‑Teesdale; the house and property were lovely, and the room matched that charm. Andrew stood out as one of the kindest hosts we met on our trip, and his breakfast featuring homemade breads and jams was delicious. I only wish I had booked Brunswick House for more nights!

The location was spot on for everything we needed to do in Middleton. The room was cosy, complete with homemade biscuits for our in‑room tea and coffee. Breakfast options were endless, and the breakfast room and lounge area felt cosy and inviting. The only hiccup was the narrow lane leading to the rest parking; our large rental car made it a bit nerve‑wracking, though plenty of free on‑street parking was available if we preferred to avoid it.
