We had a truly enjoyable stay at Piaggia. The location is perfect, right at the foot of Assisi, reachable by a 10‑minute uphill walk—ideal for walkers. The view from our room, and overall from the property, looks both toward Assisi and Santa Maria degli Angeli. Even though the hotel sits on the road, it’s quiet and sleep is good. We really liked the breakfast, with both sweet and savory options and local products, served in a setting the owner has arranged with great care and taste—it was a wonderful way to start the day. The room itself was spacious enough, comfortable, and had good beds. The staff were kind and helpful. Parking inside the property was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Assisi. No complaints to report.
