I appreciated the location, being close to my schedule, within walking distance of a BRT station and several shopping spots; the hairdryer worked, the toilet had a bidet, and the hotel supplied body soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and paste; the AC was easy to adjust once I figured it out; evenings were quiet enough to sleep, and morning renovation noise was minimal. The hotel feels old but acceptable for the price; the deposit should be taken by card since most transactions are cashless, and I don’t like getting a cash refund in THB when I’m about to leave the country and no longer need it; the receptionists could smile more and seemed reluctant to chat with guests; I never found out if Wi‑Fi was available, paid or free, because the front desk never mentioned it or I missed the flyer; housekeeping forgot to refill the free water bottle once, so I had to ask the bell boy the next day but didn’t receive a second bottle; traffic on Phetchaburi Road was bad during rush hours due to major road work, so it’s better to take a GrabRide motorcycle taxi; if you book a GrabCar to the airport, allow 15+ minutes for the car to arrive or schedule it ahead.
