Just returned from a few nights at The Nine and it was a truly amazing stay from start to finish, a real touch of luxury to cap off our Sri Lanka trip. The property is stunning with a fabulous pool and wonderful views. The staff are very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Special shout‑out to Chandana, the chef, for the most delicious breakfasts and the wonderful Sri Lankan curry at night – you must stay for dinner! The owner was also there with his family and went out of his way to ensure we were very well looked after. Because the hotel is boutique, you truly get the 5* service you don’t get at bigger resorts. Our room was clean with a beautiful view. I will definitely return to Mirissa if I come back! No faults. The main town is about a 10‑minute walk, which was fine for us.

The hotel offers breathtaking views and excellent service. At check‑in they honored my request and upgraded me to a room on the top floor with a terrace, giving a magnificent view. The huge terrace lets you watch nature, see a beautiful starry sky, and observe foxes flying overhead. You feel surrounded by nature. Monkeys and a peacock visited. The room cleaning is good. The staff are very polite. They prepared the room for bedtime. Breakfasts include eggs, toast, fruit, vegetables, juice, and they always check if you need more. The hotel is close to the main beach; it takes about 5 minutes on the road to reach the edge and 10‑15 minutes to the main part. I definitely recommend it, especially for lovers of beauty, nature, and harmony with it. In sunny weather the room heats up quickly from the panoramic glass, but the AC generally copes. You can’t step onto the terrace barefoot, it feels like walking on hot coals. Also be ready to wake up with the first roosters. All the wildlife in these picturesque places!
