Fresh fried eggs and fruit, helpful staff, friendly and competent, especially the bosses (each brother runs a hotel on a floor) who walk to the pyramids, great view right from the room or balcony, double room for €14. Maybe more TV channels would be nice.

“Più cordialità con i turisti”

Location is good, but upon arrival my husband and I were told we couldn't stay in the same room because we were married only to Orfi (four years…); I’m Italian and my husband is Egyptian; we had come to Cairo for the marriage registration… both of us are over fifty… I had to sleep with my daughter… We accepted, but still the worst part was that they kept bothering us every second, my husband couldn’t even come to greet us before they made him leave, or at least we had to keep the door open, even though we weren’t just teenagers. They also made two other clients leave, who weren’t even Egyptian and were married. How will tourism evolve like this? Definitely not recommended for anyone wanting a vacation with their partner.

“STATE LONTANI, INQUALIFICABILI”

Before I even got there, they deliberately tripled my room rate; they had offered airport transfer but nobody showed up, and when I finally arrived at the hotel they demanded the tripled price, then, when I questioned it, they told me my room had been sold—completely unprofessional.

I really liked the service and the accommodation; the location was very clean and the people were friendly. The only downside was the honking noise from the avenue below.

The place was filthy and run-down, and the photos online were nothing like the reality.
