Burki Castle & Cellar

“Great location, friendly owner, large rooms with potential for improvement.”

Location was really great and convenient to many places of interest. Beautiful sunset views of the vineyards. Very large rooms. It was very quiet. Road noise did not bother us at all. The beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom, great shower and nice bathroom amenities. We loved having a refrigerator in the room. Lots of convenient parking. The elevator worked the entire time. Friendly owner. We really very much loved the rooftop deck where we enjoyed several meals with beer and wine. We loved the large rooms but they could have had more furniture in one of our rooms that would have been a great help. A luggage rack would be great to put the suitcase on and a proper luggage cart to assist with luggage to the rooms would be useful. Although the grocery cart from the lobby we used was helpful. One of our rooms did not have any chairs or a table. The floor lamp was placed in the corner where there wasn’t an outlet. The wardrobe closet in the room would be more useful if it had shelving and more than four hangers. And finally the TV on both rooms did not work at all during our stay , the owner was made aware and said it would be fixed. Also be aware that if you stay in room 202 facing the pool and vineyards, it does have a beautiful view however it does get sun all day long and may get a little too warm for some despite air conditioning

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here; everything was outstanding, especially the pleasant and attentive staff. A special thanks to the owner for his hospitality. We left with great impressions and will definitely return! ❤️

The location is great for excursions in eastern Georgia, and evenings can be nicely spent by the pool with wine or cocktails.
