It was the most peaceful place I’ve ever stayed at, a tiny property with only a few villas near the jungle. The nights were wonderfully quiet! It’s a few minutes’ drive from the centre, but the owner (or a family member) happily drives guests to Ubud and back. Breakfast offered a good selection, including Balinese dishes.

Everything was just perfect. The bed was super comfy, the staff friendly, and the massages great. The view from the house was spectacular—only nature and leaping monkeys. Privacy was excellent; it felt like the whole place was ours. Just be cautious—if you’re after peace, quiet, and nature sounds, this is the spot; if you want noise, crowds, and loud music, look elsewhere.
