The accommodation was beautiful, perfectly positioned for touring Lecce, and we could park on nearby streets for those driving; breakfast was taken at a nearby bar, and the welcome was excellent.

The room was very quiet yet still central, but the single room only had a tiny window high in the vaulted ceiling that could barely be tilted, making it so dark that we had to turn on the lights even during the day; there was no wardrobe, breakfast was served at a neighboring café with just a drink and a pastry.

The setting was gorgeous, comfortable, quiet, and gave direct access to the old town, but breakfast was a ticketed bar: one coffee and a croissant, so it wasn’t a bed‑and‑breakfast; parking instructions were unclear—on the first day we parked 35 minutes away at a large paid lot, while on the second day it was free just a minute away, and the towel dryer was off, so nothing dried.
