The Igabara Hobbit House accommodation was absolutely stunning. The unique design of the accommodation really brought that something extra to the stay. The private pool was a great addition and lovely to use at any time of the day. There were plenty of breakfast options and the food was delicious. We also had dinner at the accommodation 1 night and the food was amazing! The staff is very attentive. We also hired a scooter and a kayak through the accommodation, which we definitely recommend you doing. You will enjoy your stay here!. A doorbell and/or 'do not disturb' sign at the gate would've been appreciated, for full privacy

We had a great and lovely two-night stay at Igabara Hobbit House in Tangalle. The house was very comfortable, cozy, and beautifully designed, with a unique and charming atmosphere. The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful details made the stay feel special and relaxing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a memorable place to stay. Highly recommended 👌

What an incredible spot! We couldn't have asked for a better kickoff to our Sri Lanka tour. The cottages are truly fairy‑tale like and sit in a beautifully landscaped green garden. Our family of five stayed in two cottages—one with a private pool and one without. Everything was impeccably maintained. Every morning, a generous and delicious breakfast was served at our cottage, with a table set beautifully for the whole family. Dinner was also superb, featuring fresh, flavorful dishes. The host is extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We truly lacked nothing. The cottages are clean, cozy, and furnished with plenty of towels, a stocked fridge, and all the comforts you need. The property is within walking distance of the beach. Because of the high waves, swimming at our stay was unfortunately not possible (though it was at other nearby beaches), but we did see dozens of baby turtles emerging from their nest and making their first journey to the sea. A unique accommodation with warm hospitality. We would definitely stay again and wholeheartedly recommend this place!
