The place is great for a comfortable and budget-friendly break! The location itself offers wonderful opportunities for independent travel. Here are some tested tips and hacks to help you orient yourself on the spot: 🚆 Transport and trips (Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi): Naples and Pompeii: From here it’s very easy and cheap to organize trips. A day trip to Pompeii is a great option. Important tip: don’t buy the extended “Pompeii plus” ticket for an extra 7–8 euros. Directly in Castellamare di Stabia there are two wonderfully preserved villas that are much better and more interesting than what they try to show in Pompeii for an extra fee. Positano and Amalfi: If you decide to travel that way, leave early. Your goal is to be on the bus at 18:00 heading back. Otherwise you risk staying overnight somewhere along the road. Train and ferries: The last train home goes around 22:00. A ferry trip is also an option, but it’s a pricey pleasure (about 3.5 times more expensive than the “train + bus” combo). Get a daily bus ticket for 10 euros. 🏖️ Beaches: The central beach for tourists gives mixed feelings. Walk 25 minutes south and you’ll find a completely different world with secluded coves, crystal‑clear water and amazing landscapes where locals relax. 🛒 Secret spots and food: The main landmark is the Sunrise Supermarket SRL in the center. But the hack is different: exit your accommodation through the back door onto the small streets. There you’ll discover an amazing world of local shops with cheap fruit for one euro per kilogram and great Italian baguettes. The room can be a good deal, but only for single occupancy. If you’re two people, the option becomes questionable and less comfortable. Bed: The sleeping area is very narrow. I had to shift two beds together, but the feeling that you could fall onto the floor at any moment lingered all the time. Cleanliness and housekeeping: The room didn’t have basic supplies to wipe the floors. For those who are used to keeping order themselves, this caused some inconvenience.

Assunta is a kind, smiling, and especially helpful guest. The room was immaculate and had everything you need for a small pampering with tea or coffee. Walking a few minutes, with a pleasant stroll, you’re on the seafront and in the city center, near the Circumvesuviana station, with bars, restaurants, small markets nearby, and a short walk to see the sea. I was really happy. I hope that next time the elevator reaches the baby’s floor, it would be super convenient with the luggage. 😚

I loved the place. Classic charming building, very close to the train station, so it’s convenient to move around. Helpful hosts. Recommend!

The owners were extremely friendly, the spot is great with the beach just a 3‑minute walk, Pompeii 20 minutes away, Naples an hour, and a 2‑minute ferry from the harbor; from the flat you’re on Capri in about an hour, and we had a fantastic week.
