The rooms were spacious, but the reception was as grumpy as sand in a swimsuit, the 80s finish was obvious, the elevator didn’t reach the breakfast floor, the savory breakfast was modest while the sweet one was good, and you had to wait for the lone waiter for coffee.
“L’hôtel est charmant. La chambre spacieuse. Et sa localisation est top.”
The hotel is very beautiful, quiet, and well located, with staff that are very welcoming and available; however, there is no parking, only a parking arrangement 500 m away that costs €20 per night.
The location is nice, quiet, and easy to reach even on foot.
“Nella sufficienza”
The place is right in the centre, but we never once had water in the room, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the cleaning left dusty corners. Breakfast was rather limited. We booked a suite and an extra room for one night at just under € 700, yet the hotel tried to charge us for three bottles of water we never received. Arriving back from Jovanotti’s summer party in Palermo at 1 am and finding no drinking water in the room was a real inconvenience, though the staff were courteous overall.
“We only stayed o e night”
The place looked beautiful and was well equipped, but we had no hot water and the air conditioning didn’t cool properly.
