We were treated very well, the owners prepared a fantastic dinner for us at the restaurant below when we arrived, and breakfast was also good. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower drain was slow.

It’s a shame that some rooms have toilets on the landing, which causes door‑knocking noise and locks remain on until very late or even part of the night.

The location in a beautiful Pyrenean village, the view of the Ossau valley, the lovely terrace for dinner or drinks, and the very friendly couple of managers were all highlights. There were only a few power outlets in the room, but that’s a minor detail.

Everything was fine, but I had to watch out for the terms “private bathroom” and “room bathroom”; still, I’m grateful to the host for letting me switch rooms so I could have a “room bathroom”. A bottle of water at 4€ is frankly too expensive.

The location is superb, with a view of the mountains and valley, and a trailhead right next to it; several paths lead out, one even to the Benou. The inn’s décor is pleasant. The breakfast wasn’t great—crusty krilpolls, plain white bread, no fruit except a bit of watermelon, and no local products. I’ve stayed elsewhere and this is the first time I’ve had a breakfast like this. The dinner was okay, but we expected an inn to serve local specialties such as garbure, black pork from the region, or other regional dishes; we found those elsewhere.
