I paid a surprisingly reasonable price, yet the facilities were well‑equipped and the vibe was great; the basement hosts a pool and sauna, making it a very satisfying hotel. I have no particular complaints, though I might compare it unfavorably to other hotels if I had to set a benchmark.

The burghotel’s location was exceptional! Every activity we wanted was within easy walking distance or reachable by public transport, and we felt we were staying in the nicest corner of the old town. The Albrecht Duhrer house is literally around the corner and there is a lovely open area with classic German pubs and restaurants just up the street. The hotel itself was absolutely fine, with very nice staff, and we had a wonderful stay!

The location is excellent. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast ranges from good to very good. There is a fully sufficient selection of everything, but nothing extra.
