“Cockroaches, pictures are not the hotel”

I got to the hotel at midnight and a friendly kid showed me to my room, which was the only thing I liked, but that should be the minimum. First off, the hotel isn’t listed on Google Maps or any other maps, so my second Grab driver had to type the address manually and still got lost. The room didn’t match the photos; opening the door revealed two cockroaches scurrying under the bed. It was two twin beds even though I booked a full/queen, and the place smelled musty, making it feel dirty right away. I left and walked to the NEO hotel about five minutes later.

The stay was comfortable, but I was annoyed by the extra charge at check‑in, whether it was an app glitch or the hotel’s mistake; it made me feel cheated.

The accommodation was acceptable for one night and very cheap, and the bus station was close to Lauf. However, the location was very bad, far from restaurants, cafés, or a supermarket. The bathroom was extremely disgusting: the flush didn’t work, there was mold everywhere, and it smelled awful.
