Great location. Cleanliness was lacking, with water drainage issues in both the sink and shower; the shower floor stayed full of water afterward. Breakfast was barely adequate.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A peaceful haven in the heart of the Franciscan area. Arriving at Domus Benedicta after days of walking really shows what hospitality means. The B&B sits in an ideal spot in Santa Maria degli Angeli, just minutes on foot from the station and the Basilica della Porziuncola – that sacred spot that gives the village a unique vibe. The room is comfortable and well‑kept: a cozy bed (a blessing for anyone tired from the road!), a tidy private bathroom, TV. The shared kitchen and the small entrance with garden are pleasant spaces to slow down and breathe after a day of walking. What stays with me most is the person: Matteo welcomed us with a genuine, warm smile that, believe me, after miles on legs is worth a good bed. Discreet, present at the right moment, his hospitality turns a simple overnight stay into something more human. For anyone on the Via di Francesco or coming to Assisi looking for something authentic, away from mass tourism, this is exactly the right place. A place with a soul. I’d return without hesitation.

Excellent location for Santa Maria degli Angeli and then catching the bus to Assisi. The owner is very kind and discreet. The room was too hot; the air conditioning didn’t work well. Breakfast was very limited.
