“Чудесе, впечатляващ домакин!”
Art is everywhere in the hotel. The host is an interesting creator, a smiling, positive person who creates a homely atmosphere. I strongly recommend. I arrive very early and need coffee and a place to sit outside, a covered spot if it rains, a convenient spot for smokers. I suggest they install a coffee vending machine.
“Nevídané dobrodružstvo v Krumovo”
The place is run by a single person who handles everything – from checking you in to cooking and even showing you around the gallery. The food is fresh, especially the home‑grown veggies. It’s a cozy, personal experience.
The room was roomy, with AC and a fridge, and overall comfortable. The downside was a poorly ventilated bathroom and windows without bug nets, so it was a bit stuffy and insects could get in.
“Красивейший отель с приятным и интересным хозяином”
A roomy room on the second floor. The owner is a big artist. The hotel houses not only rooms but also the owner’s galleries. Everything is very beautiful, inside and out. The distance from downtown Plovdiv was more of a plus for us; we enjoyed the quiet but still were close to the beauties of Plovdiv. 10‑15 minutes by car and you’re in the center. By the way, we recommend visiting Plovdiv at night. No parking problems, no crowds of tourists, and the city turns into a magical attraction. The owner let us leave later, for which we give him a special human thanks 🤝. The only downside was the lack of a kettle in the room.
I paid for a stay, but the owner kept talking about his love for Bulgarian culture and was never on time. He even served us his own food in the restaurant, which felt intrusive. I was uncomfortable the whole time.
