Cosy Hideaways in Traditional Maltese House

The cottage is well furnished and still has that old‑house vibe with working fireplaces. The phone contacts for the cottage staff were only given the day after we arrived, after the stay had ended. The description promised a functioning A/C, but after the non‑free cancellation we were told a fireplace would replace it. We arrived after 4 pm, expecting at least a warm room, but it was cold, damp, and we got no help to access the fireplace, so we had to buy matches nearby. The bathroom had no mat. Overall, given the price for one night I expected more.

“Soggiorno a Gozo”

The Gozo property is super convenient with self‑check‑in, a good location near the port, and a car can tour the whole island quickly. The outdoor area is beautiful with a large table, a barbecue (used once) and space to hang things. Parking is along the street. The room has a kitchen and all the essentials for cooking, and the AC is essential. Two lovely cats will visit you in the garden. The bed isn’t very comfortable, the sofa is a single sleeper that doesn’t open, so it’s not very cozy. The room is damp and the bathroom leaks.
