“We had a wonderful stay overall”

We got to the villa late at night after a long trip and Shifag welcomed us with incredible kindness, going above and beyond to help. His hospitality made us feel at home right away. The only drawback is the location—it’s a bit hard to reach if you don’t have your own transport. We had a scooter, but the access road was under construction, unlit at night, and with rain it could be dangerous. The villa is also a bit far from Ella’s main street. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The room view is breathtaking, and with only two villas on the property it’s very peaceful and private—ideal for couples who want to relax, enjoy nature, and escape crowds. Highly recommended!

The view is unmatched and the best in Ella. The owner is a gentleman who will arrange a tuk‑tuk for a minimal fee if you need one. Guy Suresh and the caretaker will help you in every way possible. The only downside is the location—10 km from Ella Town, about 15‑20 min away. However, the owner personally arranges a tuk‑tuk from his parking spot whenever you want to go out, and a tuk‑tuk is ready to take you to the parking spot.

“Complete switch off with amazing views”

The property was spotless and secure, offering the best view I’ve seen; waking up there was fantastic, even spotting peacocks. The staff were charming and the meals were tasty. The owner was excellent, promptly answering every question and arranging a driver for easy transport. I would definitely recommend it.

“Great views, food and service”

The location and room were gorgeous, and the food was the best I’ve tasted in Sri Lanka, with very friendly service. The only downside was that we didn’t realize how far it was from Ella town, but the setting remains beautiful, peaceful, and lovely.

“We can’t wait to come back”

The secluded spot was stunning, and the staff genuinely cared for us. The homemade traditional dishes were delightful. The downside is that the road to the property will be resurfaced next month, meaning the driver can’t drop you off at the villa and will have to send a Tuk‑tuk instead.
