“Horrible Stay and Greedy Owner”

The bathroom was wide. Everything else was terrible. No staff, only the owner who didn’t show up for 15 nights of my stay. The first night was cancelled for no reason, then he insisted on cash payment outside the booking app, and I ended up paying about 35 % more than the booking rate. I had to accept because I had heavy luggage and some disabilities. There was no TV, no tissues or toilet paper, no towels, no housekeeping. The apartment is in a very narrow alley where you can hear noisy neighbours and the street; the rooms aren’t sound‑proof as described, you can hear a neighbour snoring loudly. The 15 nights were full of hammering and drilling, and the air smelled like horse manure. The alley is full of rocks and dust, and the road outside is extremely dangerous to walk on, with harassing bazaar sellers and vehicles going both ways in wrong directions. Crossing the road outside is another nightmare. I don’t recommend the whole area of Abou El Hol road (Kafrat El Gabal, Mansouria road) for a stay. Four months ago I stayed in a different apartment there and was hit by a “tok tok” (a three‑wheel small vehicle) and had to undergo two major surgeries that cost me 12 k $ with no compensation.

The staff are very polite, and Messrs. Mustafa and Ibrahim are very friendly and will help you with anything you need, such as photocopying documents. The place is quiet, clean, and tidy. Their prices are reasonable. I recommend visiting this place. The street outside the house is sometimes crowded
