“Very sad and poorly managed hotel.”
The room was roomy, the hotel wasn't crowded, and the spot was close to the city center. The lobby avocado bar was tidy and the bartender was friendly. But the bathroom was not cleaned properly when we arrived – the toilet had traces of #2, the water kept running all night with no way to stop it, and the sink leaked. The shower gel dispenser was missing; instead they gave us small bottles. Breakfast was pricey, awful, and not a buffet because there weren’t enough guests; we had to pick from a short list that didn’t even include butter on the first day, lactose‑free yogurt never, fruit, and the “bacon” turned out to be two slices of fried ham. The spa and pool were unavailable the whole stay because of a “cleaning process in progress” – the reason we chose this hotel was the pool. They didn’t inform us beforehand or offer a cancellation. Parking cost RON 96/day, which is outrageous, and at check‑out they almost added an extra day’s fee.
