“Prix élevé pour un établissement qui n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles indien”
We were welcomed by Deepak, who was attentive to our comfort. The concierge showed us the museum before we left, but most rooms were closed due to low season. The terrace offered a nice view of Jaisalmer Fort, yet the overall service didn’t justify the price. The room was rustic, bathroom fixtures were low‑grade, and cleanliness was average (the toilet photo on arrival confirmed this). The pool was often dirty with pigeons, and we had to request cleaning 30 minutes ahead of time; Deepak even had to ask a colleague repeatedly. In a 4‑star hotel, hygiene shouldn’t depend on special requests. The on‑site dinner was disappointing with few options and high prices compared to nearby restaurants, so we’d rather eat out. Breakfast was very basic, and the server, while friendly, lacked professionalism. Our stay didn’t live up to a palace, especially compared to other 4‑star hotels in Rajasthan, including those in the WelcomHeritage group.
