Travelodge by Wyndham Vallejo

We’ve stayed at this hotel for the third or fourth time now, and it offers excellent value for money. It was clean and quiet. Thank you! We’ll return when we’re in the area again :) The only issue was that the bathroom sink faucet handle was broken, but it wasn’t a critical problem for us.

“Worthwhile stay for the price at a convenient location.”

The staff were incredible, especially Tina, who was extremely sweet and accommodating. There was also pretty good complimentary coffee in the lobby.

“i will no longer book any property that has the word "lodge" at the end of it!”

There was no breakfast, which is fine. Coffee is good, but you have to go to the office to get it, and you have to buzz in. The area feels shady and makes me feel unsafe. Everything else was disappointing.

The price was cheap, the owners were very nice, and the room smelled of bleach so I knew it had been cleaned. The neighborhood looked rough and other guests seemed questionable. Random things were broken throughout the room: the shower curtain rod was bent as if someone had hung on it, lamp shades were pieced together, and furniture was noticeably damaged. The office door is always locked and you must buzz in.

“It was OK for the money we paid, but I would not stay there again”

It was close to Discovery Kingdom. At first, the only way to get onto the property was through an alley full of potholes that tore up my car. The lobby, if you will, couldn’t comfortably hold more than two people.
