The welcome was excellent, and the room had a neat, original decor with a very comfortable bed, but the layout was average and the room felt a bit small.

The Tuzhu hotel looks like a piece of art and architecture, with a primitive minimalist vibe as its name implies; the staff were very friendly, my room was spotless and cozy, everything functioned properly, and the breakfast buffet featured hot and cold vegetarian options, good coffee, and a freshly cooked noodle station; there are several good restaurants and a night market just a walk away, and even though they don’t run tours, they connected me with a great driver; overall the location, value, and variety were all solid.

Cleanliness. Comfortable bed. The reception was very helpful even though they don’t speak English. It’s a bit far from everything, especially if you are a tourist.

The décor is stunningly simple and natural, and the room, though small, is still comfortable and well equipped. The Chinese buffet breakfast is served in a lovely basement hall nearby.
