The staff were very kind, the rooms were clean and tidy. The shower ventilation was quite poor, and aside from the sweet breakfast, I would advise against buying the packaged pastries—they’re pretty bad; it’s better to bake a simple homemade babka, strudel, or anything fresh and uncomplicated.

A beautiful hotel in the centre of Domažlice, with helpful staff, excellent breakfast, and a restaurant that was also very good.

The room was a decent size with a comfortable bed and a kettle, and it was right in the centre of the old town. The toilet in room 4 was positioned too cramped, leaving almost no legroom unless you’re very tall; the walk from the station was quite long but manageable.
