Everything was very dirty! The breakfast was unclear—maybe a three‑star hotel would be better! The sound insulation is terrible!

“Très beau, bien placé, buffet succulent, personnel aux petits soins”

The welcome was warm, the staff went to great lengths, the breakfast was magical, the upgraded suite was much appreciated, the overnight preparation while we were at the restaurant (shutters lowered, bed open, towels changed…) was flawless, and the cleanliness was impeccable. However, there might be a lack of some "activities": a bocce court, a spa, etc. The hotel, though beautiful, offers only one pool, which is a pity given the type of establishment.

“Staff superb, hotel was not!”

Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, nice pool area and Bar, (although a little scruffy in parts)good gym, lovely staff and excellent shuttle service virtually on demand. Room and bathroom definitely not 5 star and the cost of our stay north of €1000/night absolutely not good value compared to our other 3 hotels on our tour of France which were all half the price and all 5 star hotels. The Gaia restaurant totally overpriced compared to every other restaurant we experienced on our trip, 2 of the specials crazy prices!!
