The direct view of Kirkjufell is priceless, especially at sunset… a real color spectacle and unique. The cottage itself has everything you need to stay cozy for several days. The Kirkjufell waterfall, Kirkjufell, and the town of Grundarfjördur are within walking distance. I would very likely stay longer next time to fully enjoy the great atmosphere.
