“J'ai eu une gastro à cause de l'hygiène de l'hotel. Plus jamais, trop de monde!”
The vibe created by the animation team was great and one of the receptionists was especially friendly, even swapping us into the new buildings. We ended up with a suite that didn’t feel like a 5‑star room and were given a double instead of a triple, leaving the third person sleeping on a mattress on the floor because there was no extra bed. Our room had a tiny pool right outside, but the water was far too cold to swim. The pools were overcrowded and the water looked murky, while the main dining hall was noisy; the buffet was rather mediocre, the selection limited, and the tables and room weren’t very clean. I contracted a stomach bug and was rushed to a private clinic, paying 650 EUR and unable to settle the bill in TRY, whereas in Turkey emergencies never cost more than about 100 EUR with a blood test. My daughter then got the same illness, so we spent six days sick in the room, barely eating anything.
