Away from large hotels, it’s quiet. Nice! Close to the center. The room is spacious, well‑equipped, and very clean. There’s a small terrace outside with low tables and chairs, great for relaxing. The owner is very responsive to messages. It’s more of a rental, so there’s no breakfast service; it would have been better to stay with a host

The place is well‑located; you do have to walk 10 minutes to reach the city center with a steep climb/descend, but compared to other Cat Ba accommodations that force you to take a taxi into town, the air conditioning works well and the host is responsive. The terrace and its mountain view are a welcome bonus

Excellent location, close to the center and restaurants. The host is very kind and responsive, helped me book the next day’s bus. I recommend this place. Thick curtains would be needed for the light

The place sits a bit off‑center and the air‑conditioning works. I was really disappointed given the overall rating; there was no pre‑arrival information from the host, even though the check‑in is self‑service, and no sign on the property. The host asked me to pay at his other hotel, the bathroom smelled like pipes, and there was no sound or light insulation.
