The large public bath and delicious breakfast refreshed me after a long time, and within walking distance there were a big supermarket and a family restaurant, so I never had trouble getting meals. On the lower floor, opening the window let in a faint sound of cars on the national highway.

The staff were kind and quick to help. The fact that there is only one elevator is a bit inconvenient, but it’s a minor issue.

I could see Mount Fuji straight ahead, and although it was a smoking room, the interior didn't feel too smoky. I booked a double bed for myself and it was very comfortable. The air purifier needs frequent cleaning; as soon as I turned it on, the smoke smell returned.

Getting there was easy, and there’s parking right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they explained the services well. The room was spotless, the bed comfy, and the bathroom clean with hot water that came on fast and was warm enough. The bathtub was spacious enough that the shower curtain didn’t stick to the walls like in some other hotels. The self‑serve breakfast offered a wide variety of options. A convenience store is a 10–15‑minute walk away. It’s a good hotel that I’d gladly return to. Note: there’s an onsen I didn’t get to try, which is another reason to stay here if I’m in the area. I have nothing to complain about – it’s a clean hotel with good value.
