The room and the hotel overall look stunning, and the spot is right in the heart of downtown, so I’d recommend it; however, the room was very tight, the bathroom even smaller, and the reception staff were sometimes absent, even when I checked in.

The place’s size and history were nice, but everything else was lacking—no water, no shampoo or toothpaste, and it felt like a 5‑star hotel that didn’t deliver; I booked a street‑view room but it ended up in the courtyard, the coffee was long overdue, there was no sugar, absolutely nothing, and I was forced to pay for water that was supposed to be included.

The location was spot on, but the bathroom was a complete mess: every shower left the drains clogged, clearly pointing to serious plumbing issues, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom; the carpet in the room had big stains that might need replacement; breakfast options were awful—being vegan I only found muesli and no plant‑based milk at all.
