“Nice Local pub made to feel very welcome”

The staff were very friendly and had good service skills. The room was nice, featuring a fab roll‑top bath and a separate shower, and we enjoyed our pub dinner meal. The coffee‑making facilities were the best ever! Just outside our room in the Lobby, they were easy to access. All rooms (3) had a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge under the coffee station. Our room was on the ground floor next to the bar and restaurant, so it was very quiet. I would be very happy to stay again in the future. The pillows were lumpy (they need replacing) and the basin was rather small with poor hot water flow, so we used the bath shower attachment to fill it up faster. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable room.

“Stay was very good value and the food was delicious.”

We’d already finished dinner before checking in, but the puddings were delicious, and breakfast was lovely. Everyone on the staff, including the owner, was very friendly and the service was great. It was a bit noisy, as we could hear the next room—probably because they were speaking loudly. The tea bags could have been replaced overnight.

The rooms were clean and tidy, small but cozy, though they lacked storage. Breakfast cost a lot, and the staff were not attentive at all; I never received any butter for my toast.
