The hosts were helpful and friendly, and the room and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fairly complete, with both savory and sweet options. Unfortunately, the accommodation was damp because of its location.

The garden outside our room was beautiful, and we had a small patio. It was close to restaurants and attractions but very quiet. The automatic bathroom light and fan were a bit annoying.

The reception was perfect, with a very clear explanation of how the house and the room worked. We had access to everything in the house, including the kitchen, billiard table, and outdoor terrace. The place was quiet, with no passing traffic. Our room was fairly new and clean. The soundproofing of the rooms was poor, as the parquet floor let us hear a lot of people walking on the floor above; for more complete silence, ask for a room on a higher floor.

The tranquility of the place, its green and floral atmosphere, the charm of this historic house, the welcoming and attentive staff, and the fact that it is a 10‑minute walk from the city centre made for a great stay.
