A hearty, plentiful breakfast was offered, with cold drinks available but no suitable glasses. The room at the back was spacious and quiet, and there was no street noise from the main road in front of the building. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, there was no cozy lounge—only pleasant seating at tables in the covered garden. The corridors were very echo‑prone, with loud clanging of doors into the lock.
