We liked the location and the homey vibe. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. We chose a room with a balcony and enjoyed a beautiful view of the Krasikov hill, where the ruins of Švamberk Castle are located.

Reality differed from the introductory photos. The place looked nice, but upon arrival the first impression was disappointing. There was no food available.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were good, and the cheese and dairy products were delicious. The facilities were decent, and I especially appreciated the window nets and the fly‑trap in the bathroom – that’s a big plus. The view looks out onto a courtyard with an old barn (really a view of an interesting place 😉). Everything is quite far, especially grocery stores – but that’s not a problem for the great owners.
