The location was great, with easy access to Baylor University, downtown, and the nature park; the room was spacious and clean, and the lobby was a nice spot to gather. The pool area could use more seating, the complimentary breakfast was decent but could offer more, the rooms were great but the bed was a bit lumpy, yet the pillows were very comfortable.

The location was very convenient for the Baylor University football game, yet the hallways were dirty and a live roach was running around our room. The staff was indifferent and hard to locate, and the front desk rarely had anyone present. Breakfast was okay, but I tried adding my Marriott Bonvoy number twice and it never applied. The room rate was almost triple the regular rate because of the Baylor game, making this one of the most unpleasant places I’ve stayed at in Waco in the last ten years, despite having stayed at many others. Stay elsewhere if you can.
