A room with two beds and a gorgeous mountain view, the breakfast was tasty and the owners were very friendly and helpful. There’s also a sweet cat that drops by from time to time. The place is very noisy, waking me up early with barking dogs and loud birds, and the bathroom has no lockable window so insects sometimes crawl in at night.

Loved: -Location 15 max in tuktuk -cabin is new and so clean - comfy bed (had mosquito net) - staff really amazing -plentiful breakfast -lovely large clean bathroom with strong hot shower. -loved the top level to have a coffee in the morning. Loved it all. One thing I would recommend is to have clothes hangers and some sort of wardrobe. Also a fridge would be ideal too as the property is a bit out of the centre so if we wanted to relax for an evening with a couple cold beers, so having a fridge would be idea and really make this place the best

“Lovely, brand new place with very nice big and long bed and amazing view”

We loved the spot just outside Ella, only a 5‑minute tuktuk ride from town, surrounded by mountains and quiet. The bed was the longest we’ve seen in Sri Lanka, long enough for my 1.92m husband, and the view and hot shower were fantastic. The brand‑new cottage looked stunning, and the host’s tiny restaurant—Dream Lounge, 100 m up the mountain with four tables—offered phenomenal food cooked right before you and a breathtaking view; definitely worth a visit. The only drawback was the lack of a bench or closet; there was plenty of space but no place to store luggage or clothes off the floor except for a sofa, so we had to use the stairs to the upper floor and the sofa for our belongings.
