“In alle rust genieten van een fantastisch plattelandsappartement”
A dead‑end road and a long driveway lead to a quiet Eldorado of calm. We arrived at the completely open B&B Het Heerengoedt and felt right at home after a warm welcome from Diana. The two‑storey apartment was a true gem, fully equipped with a kitchen, a cozy sitting area with smart TV, and a separate toilet on the same floor. The spiral staircase brought us to a spacious bedroom with a superb bed, and a sliding door separated the room from a luxurious bathroom that had a soaking tub, rain shower, and a second toilet. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated. We skipped breakfast, but the kitchen—complete with fridge, dishwasher, and combo oven/microwave—made it easy to prepare our own. The weather at Het Heerengoedt is great, letting us unwind from daily bustle, and the surroundings are stunning: Kasteel Twickel with its gardens, countless Komoot walks, the Sallandse Heuvelrug, and charming Twentse towns. The location is also perfect for cycling. Diana and Theo were always ready to help. In short, a big recommendation!
