The breakfast was good, the accommodation excellent, the team very nice, and the hotel pretty and good; nothing to complain about.

“Uma experiência única! Taylor e Mr. T, vocês sao incríveis!”

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at; the service is impeccable, the rooms are spacious and beautiful (facing the river), the meals are great, the safari tours included (only within the Abelana reserve) are a differentiator, and the staff Taylor, Mr. T, and Layla are definitely out of this world—amazing people! The only complaint is the high room rate.

“Dream like safari in a gorgeous location.”

It’s a beautiful all‑inclusive safari boutique resort in an absolutely idyllic location, with all the Big 5 game; the staff are all lovely and the rooms are gorgeous. The coffee is okay but not the best.

“GEWELDIG”

The location is gorgeous, the room super! The food was very good, the service friendly, and we had a wonderful couple of days—highly recommended! The only downside is that when you ask for a glass of wine, they apparently sell you a whole bottle, and it’s also heavily overpriced.

“An experience that I will never forget”

We saw elephants walking on the other side of the river while we lounged at the pool, loved the sound of baboons early in the morning, and saw a hippo swim past while we drank coffee on our deck; giraffes walked through the grounds and were almost close enough to touch. The food is excellent, the staff amazing, and the whole experience is luxurious and spectacular.
