The facilities and service were generally good, but there was no cell reception in the area, power outages occurred, and the Wi‑Fi in the hotel went out. We had to travel to Catemaco to complete an important task, so a backup power source would be a welcome addition.

The venue is pretty and perfect for relaxing and exploring nearby spots; a few bathroom tweaks would help—perhaps a better shower head that doesn’t wet the whole room and slightly firmer mattresses. Still, it’s a place worth returning to for a relaxation plan. The pool was nice but dirty; maintenance is needed, especially for families with children, since that’s the main attraction. It’s secluded and hidden, which is great for those who have time to explore, but we couldn’t enjoy it much because of our circumstances.

The gentleman was very friendly, but the kitchenette was unhygienic, full of grime, and the coffee maker and blender were in bad shape. When I asked for a new gas tank, they gave me an empty one. It’s not worth the price for foreigners or tourists—only for Catemaco residents. The breakfast chairs were uncomfortable, and the room’s cleanliness was lacking; I had to ask them to tidy up and straighten the beds.

A great spot for nature lovers, with a washing machine and dryer available—ideal for those of us who like to travel light. The last 500 meters to reach the property are gravel, which isn’t very easy to walk on.
