The Marina Inn on San Francisco Bay

“The price point was good it was clean staff great nice breakfast”

Staff were very nice, the hotel was clean but quite dated. The location is convenient, but it was a little odd getting to… through a neighborhood and a little dark at the edge of the marina. It was much nicer to see in the morning light.

“Not what I expected smh”

Great location, and the staff are professional and nice 👍. Everything in the room was outdated, damaged property, very strange smells, pool furniture is covered in spider webs and animal fur, and the pool and hot tub were disgusting. On the recording, it says parking is free, but you are charged for the parking.

“Really good I felt a little uneasy during this visit”

I have been coming to Marina in for years. I was surprised about the additional charge per night for parking; I was told the money was to be used for a night watchman, but I never saw a night watchman. This is my first visit that I felt a little unsafe. My family felt it necessary to walk me from Horatio’s to the hotel due to the homeless situation there. Also, the breakfast has fewer items than it used to; there is no raisin cinnamon bread and no hard‑boiled eggs, to mention a few.

“Nice hotel, nice staff, derelict surroundings”

Breakfast was decent, but being charged $18.00 for parking felt like gouging, and there was no alternative spot if you drive.

I really liked the room; the shower temperature fluctuated a bit, yet overall it was a great value.
