Absolutely a stunning place right in the water! I loved the upstairs lounge with the views of the lake, it was the perfect spot to watch the sunrise or sunset!

The restaurant’s lake view is truly worth it; I highly recommend walking to the balcony on the second floor where you can see the shepherd’s church without crowds. The lake and church are very close, and friends say the bus stop is also nearby. There’s plenty of free parking around, and the parking lot itself is close—just the perfect spot. I booked a room for four in the only available unit, and the bed was as comfortable as ever (I’ve stayed at Haka Christchurch before). There’s ample space on the bed for items and charging.

The view from the lake‑view room was amazing, and I could also see the good shepherd’s church. The towel was old and had some stain on it.
