The host was friendly, but it was a shame that because of the late arrival I couldn’t place a breakfast order for the next morning.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town yet very quiet, there was plenty of parking, and the owner welcomed us warmly and spent time chatting; breakfast was good, especially the porridge, but the on‑suite was very small and compact.
