“Really exceeded our expecations - definitely THE place to stay in Capraia”
The hotel looked even more gorgeous than the online photos, and to my surprise—since there were no pictures of it—there was a brand‑new pool overlooking the sea, set in a botanical garden with a wine and cheese bar. We ended up dining at the wine and cheese spot (plus veggies, charcuterie, etc.) twice during our stay and were pleasantly surprised by all those hidden perks. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on, and we’re ordering from the same mattress company. The staff were very helpful, snagged us a last‑minute dinner table even on a national holiday when everything else was booked, and arranged excursions for us. The only issue was that when we arrived, there was no clear signage indicating the reception desk had moved to a new area, so we got a bit lost and lingered for a while.
