The hotel is right on Rambla, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms aren’t modern but are clean, and the idea of a coffee corner with fresh drinks always available to guests is great, though the Wi‑Fi is weak in some spots.
The place sits right in the center and the staff were very welcoming and kind; the room was spacious, clean, and the beds were quite comfortable, but the bathroom door was a pain to close and needed fixing.

The staff were friendly and the spot was central with clean rooms, yet the third‑floor rooms and bathrooms were absurdly tiny for the steep €250 per night, the toilet was a noisy grinder in all rooms, ours was in bad shape and we had to change rooms, the showers were old, there was no storage space, the rooms were uncomfortable, a green light above the door kept us from sleeping, there was no soundproofing between rooms, they offered a free drink if you skip housekeeping (unacceptable at that price), the rooms were in a residential building which wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and there were no fire safety rules, which would be illegal in France.

The main plus is the fantastic location (though it’s quite noisy), on the corner of Praça da Catalunia, giving easy access to airport transport, local and tourist buses, and metro lines; the room was comfortable. The breakfast was very limited (not a buffet, just an individual tray per guest). On the last night of my stay, the water heater broke and the shower didn’t work.
