We had all our needs met and the tour schedule was adjusted after our flight was delayed; with GTS’s help we completed the entire itinerary and even had another visit planned. Most of the vendors on Fila Island were unprofessional and we felt uncomfortable with them, unlike the other areas.

We were moved to the Princess Sarah for reasons beyond anyone’s control, and the ship was excellent with an outstanding crew. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but that didn’t bother us much.

The food was decent and the place was clean. However, the rooms were blasted by the ship’s engine noise, and the excursions were poorly organized, almost a scam for some. Don’t trust the person you contact via booking; I booked seven months ago, they assured me everything was fine, but on arrival I had to figure things out alone—only one of their contacts was reliable. That person made many mistakes, posted the listing on Booking, and then refused to help. They scammed people on site by charging by card and using their own exchange rate, quoting a Euro price and converting it to their advantage. Moreover, the boat wasn’t the one shown on Booking; I saw it during the cruise and it was a very old, bad‑condition vessel. Avoid it.

“Excellent stay, shocking air quality 24/7”

Everyone on staff was friendly, hardworking, and eager to please; the food and pool were great. I left with a cough, sore throat, and chest wheezing, all caused by terrible air quality on the Aswan‑Luxor run. Over 50 cruise ships run their engines 24/7, spewing diesel fumes and oil into the Nile. Those vessels should be banned or switched to hybrid/electric, and solar panels would help. The first company to do that would win the tourist market.
