“Termite soldiers in the bed - no response from management”
I found the place pretty cute, with rooms arranged around a leafy central courtyard that even has an outdoor kitchen. Nadia—though not the owner—welcomed us and was very friendly. The rooms were small but comfortable and looked clean at first glance. The kitchen had basic equipment, enough for eggs, but cooking a full meal would be tough. Unfortunately, we were woken at night by tiny insects crawling across the bed and our bodies, and by morning the bed was covered in dead ones. We identified them as termite soldiers, apparently coming from the wooden headboard. No one was around to talk to in the morning, so we had to leave early; I sent a message but never got a reply. I imagine they could handle this problem easily, but since they never responded, I feel compelled to leave this review. We stayed in late June 2026. Some of the beach had been cleared of sargasso, but there was still a lot of it in places, and it was very smelly.
