I’ve stayed at several highly rated hotels in Hanoi, and usually you either get helpful staff or a room that works, but not both. Luckily on our last nights at Minasi Grand we got both. The room was well equipped, comfortable, had shower screens, no leaks, and the rain head actually worked. Breakfast was varied, the location wasn’t in the old quarter but it was quiet and cheap to grab a ride into the action. The biggest plus was the staff – always helpful and pleasant. We had an early evening flight and wanted to explore a bit more, so they offered a free late checkout so we could wander in the humidity, then return for a shower before heading home. They also showed us how to get a discount on a Grab to the airport, and when surge pricing made it expensive they arranged a private drop‑off at a cheaper rate. They didn’t push us to their own service; they just gave us the best and cheapest option. Mark and Sarah made everything so easy that we could just enjoy the end of our holiday. The only downside was nearby construction, which was only noticeable outside while walking or waiting for a Grab; inside the room it was fine.

The breakfast is superb. A lot of food options to choose and there are varieties of menu everyday. Great hospitality from the hotel staff. They are all nice and attentive to our needs specially Sarah from the reception, she’s commendable for checking on us after we checked in early in the morning and even checked and refunded us on the amount the we overpayed during our checked in and for arranging our Ha Long Bay tour which we really enjoyed. Also we received a top notch breakfast service from Emma. My parents and husband were really fond of her. She always checked on us if there’s anything we want during our breakfast. I would say all the staff are very attentive, smiling and very helpful during our entire stay. We also had a great time on the Ha Long Bay tour that we booked from the hotel. Nothing

The accommodation was clean, well equipped, and in the center. The window faced the inner block, and the room was darker all day, which made it hard to adjust to a different schedule.
