Receiving the mandatory breakfast in a box at your doorstep and having to eat at a small table in the room isn’t what I expect from a place that charges €160 per night, and the bathroom condition was disappointing.

The room was great, the bed super comfy, the air conditioning cooled well, and the bathroom was excellent. The spot is nice, just a 10‑minute walk to Florence’s center. The breakfast, however, was only served in the room and you couldn’t pick what you wanted; it wasn’t a deal‑breaker for us, but it could use a tweak.

Finding the place was a breeze and it sat in a very quiet spot. It was a walk from the main station, but that didn’t bother us. Getting in after hours was straightforward, and the staff’s quick replies were appreciated. The room itself was even bigger than we expected, and we liked having an 8 am breakfast before heading out. The mattresses and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but for just one night it was tolerable.

The room was lovely, the soundproofing was good, and the breakfast was plentiful. Unfortunately we couldn’t figure out how the air‑con worked and it blew little air. The bed was very hard, not suitable for anyone with neck issues.
