“Super micro stay”
The hot shower and bed were great, yet the host was slow to reply and the Wi‑Fi password wasn’t listed in the room, so I had to wait a while to get it.

Cozy ground‑floor suite in Amsterdam’s vibrant Pijp district, just steps from Sarphatipark. The one‑bedroom apartment features a private bathroom, free Wi‑Fi, coffee machine, kitchenware, and wardrobe. Located 14 km from Schiphol, 18‑minute walk to RAI, and 1.5 km from the Van Gogh Museum, it offers easy access to Royal Theater Carré, Concertgebouw, and local ice‑skating and boating.

Everything was within walking distance. There was no air conditioning, so the room can get really warm on summer days. A fan is present, but I highly recommend adding an air conditioner to make it more comfortable to sleep at night. The toilet also clogs easily; we followed the instructions strictly, but on our last day it unfortunately blocked and we couldn’t fix it. I messaged the owner to let them know of the situation.

Amazing location and space, so easy to find and use. Unfortunately, not the owners’ fault at all, the conservation rules mean there are no opening windows. Which probably makes it quite cozy in winter but was pretty horrible during the heatwave.

The spot is convenient, but mid‑summer brings no AC, only a standing fan, and no paper tissues. The bed feels too soft, and the price feels like a 4‑star rate for a 2.5‑star room, especially given the premium charge for the location.

The location was great and the room stayed clean and tidy, with a few nice personal touches from the host. However, the property, marketed as a romantic getaway, turned out to be a converted garage with one bedroom, a toilet/shower, and a strange cubby hole above the bathroom. The bed was the first thing you see, and people walking past could see into the room because the curtains didn’t close properly. It was a hot week in Amsterdam and the room was constantly boiling; a fan helped a little but the building has no opening windows, so air‑con would be welcome. The toilet door handle fell off immediately, which was funny at first but annoying when you couldn’t close the door and had to bang it each time to get out. The front door locks were temperamental and hard to open, the key safe was blocked by bikes parked in front, and the fridge was useless because it kept things semi‑cold. The toilet door handle fell off instantly, funny at first but annoying when you can’t close the toilet door / get stuck in the toilet & have to bang each time to get let out. Other little things… the front door locks are annoying, temperamental & hard to open. The key safe to get the keys out of were blocked off by bikes parked in front. There is a fridge, but it’s pretty useless. It kept things which were bought cold semi cold.
